Thank you for visiting my website.
I grew up in Michigan and got my undergraduate degree from Michigan State University. Immediately after college I married and we moved to Cleveland Ohio, where we spent four very snowy years, while I attended Podiatric Medical School. I went back to the Detroit area for my surgical residency, at what is now called St. Joseph's Hospital, Macomb County.
After completion of my surgical training, we moved to the Dallas area and I joined a group practice. A few years later I opened my own practice in the Dallas, Lake Highlands area. Then in 1996, together with a colleague, I opened a satellite office in Allen, and for the next 13 years I shuttled up and down central expressway. In 2008 I sold the Dallas practice, and I have been happily back to operating just one office. I live nearby in Plano.
I have two college age kids (Aggies) and two cats at home (almost as much trouble as the kids, but less expensive). For recreation, I work and play with my beefed-up 1992 Jeep Wrangler, which I have turned into a "Rock Crawler". My idea of a vacation usually involves an ocean and a beach.
Now for the professional side; in the late 80's, I helped form and became the director of the Podiatric surgical residency at Southwest Dallas Hospital. At that time, it was the only surgical residency in Dallas, approved by both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Council of Teaching Hospitals. In the 90's, I was appointed Director of Externship Programs for the Dallas County Podiatric Medical Association. Over the years I've participated in countless professional organizations and committees, in association with business, medical education and public health. I have published in medical journals, and I have lectured at both local and national seminars.
If I can be of assistance to you, through conservative or surgical care of your foot problem, or just answers your questions, please feel free to contact my office.
